NEW APPRENTICE TOOL & SUPPLY LIST
The following is the list of tools all apprentices are required to have on-the-job. You will be notified of local suppliers that will have pre-assembled electrical apprentice tool sets ready for purchase at a discounted cost.
OPTIONAL - Apprentices may furnish tools from the Journeyman list found in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and they may furnish additional small hand tools at their option, EXCLUDING socket sets, hole (knock out) pullers, battery or power operated tools, and benders. For safe work practices, the purchase of voltage testers is strongly recommended.
Although our apprentices are required to attend related instruction classes at our training center in person, much of our curriculum, including homework, is delivered online, then discussed and tested in class. Apprentices will need Windows or Mac-based laptops (not smartphones) in order to fully participate. CLICK HERE for detailed system requirements to utilize our online Blended Learning courses.
