The JATC offers a 4-year Inside Wireman apprenticeship program, as well as a Construction Wireman program, which takes place at the training center in N. Chesterfield, Virginia. Please see the requirements for the Inside Wireman and Construction Wireman training program below and then click on the links for detailed program information.
INSIDE WIREMAN APPRENTICESHIP QUALIFICATIONS:
- Applicants must be at least 17 years old to apply & 18 years of age to participate if selected.
- Applicants must submit official High School transcripts or official GED scores.
- Applicants must have a passing grade in Algebra 1 or GED equivalent.
- Applicants must be able to work legally in the United States.
- Applicants must be capable of completing all requirements of the apprenticeship program and performing the work required of an electrical worker, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- $20 Processing Fee
- Applicants will sit for an interview.
