This course was created as a joint collaboration between the IBEW 7th District and NECA's 5th District and consists of 16 three-hour modules where Foremen and Journeymen participate in an action-learning atmosphere of teaching and discussion focused on industry "best practices.
This apprenticeship...your apprenticeship...is looking to create a list of Instructors for part-time instruction. You must be a licensed electrician but No classroom teaching experience necessary and No degree necessary.
Code Update Classes are temporarily being held at the Meeting Hall on Nine Mile Road from 6pm - 9pm.
Holding these classes in a large room will allow for social distancing. Other precautions, as recommended by the VDH and the CDC, will be taken.

Per Guideline
--Work Evaluation Report (Paper) - Monthly WORK EVALUATION REPORTS shall be filed with the office of the apprenticeship no later than the SEVENTH (7TH) day of the following month.
--Work Experience Reports (Online)- No later than the seventh (7TH) day of the following month you must submit an ON-LINE WORK EXPERIENCE REPORT.
Richmond Electricians' JATC offers the Inside Wireman Apprenticeship and the Construction Wireman program to start a career as an Electrician. Our programs are not just classroom time instruction. Most of your time will be spent on a job earning a paycheck while you learn electrical skills.
